BRILLIANCE IN BLACK PRESENTS

JUNE 3-10, 2018

WHAT IS BLACK RESTAURANT WEEK?

As an extension of our Baltimore Black Wall Street Festival, we have created Baltimore Black Restaurant Week to foster an opportunity for black owned restaurants to generate new customers through a week of dining deals.

Brilliance in Black, LLC is dedicated to highlighting the positive actions of those in the community, as well as, promoting black businesses.  We understand the importance of circulating the black dollar to stimulate and uplift socio-economics.

A portion of the proceeds raised during Black Restaurant Week will be donated to #FIXBaltimore, “a community organization and urban empowerment group that aims to improve the community through artistry, volunteering, workshops, community gardening and city cleanups.” (http://fixbaltimoreweb.wixsite.com/home)

Sponsor Black Restaurant Week

Thank you for your support and dedication to promoting and supporting black businesses in the city of Baltimore.  With the support of community building and sponsors in the Baltimore area and throughout the nation, the Baltimore Black Restaurant Week will not only bring light to the growing number of black owned businesses here in the city, but also aid in creating a network to support and build the city.

The Black Restaurant Week is scheduled for June 3-10, 2018 and is hosted by Brilliance in Black, LLC.

Your affiliation with our event will compliment your established reputation of excellence in the community.  Given the importance of this festival, we ask that you make a sponsorship commitment on behalf of your company or organization.  Your funds will aid in offsetting the expenditures associated with the event, as well as media coverage, and assist in the promotion of black businesses throughout the state of Maryland. We are relying on your sponsorship to help us offer diners an exciting experience to be remembered!

#FIXBaltimore

A portion of the proceeds raised during Black Restaurant Week will be donated to #FIXBaltimore, “a community organization and urban empowerment group that aims to improve the community through artistry, volunteering, workshops, community gardening and city cleanups.” (http://fixbaltimoreweb.wixsite.com/home)

#FixBaltimore is a For-profit organization grounded in grassroots values. Founding members of the organization were serving the Baltimore community prior to the conception; however events leading up to and after the death of Freddie Gray generated collective action.  The organization is dedicated to improving the material conditions, economic opportunities, and overall atmosphere of urban Baltimore. During the past year, #FixBaltimore’s initiatives have grown and evolved into a movement for and by  passionate young people. Their urgency for change has motivated artistic, agricultural, job training, and youth centered projects.
