Everybody deserves to be pampered! So a few weeks ago we visited esthetician Myasia over at Dear Body in Baltimore.
This was my first time getting a professional facial, normally I just concoct some things at home with truly no real understanding of what I’m actually doing. The internet will have you feeling like you went to school for absolutely anything. I can say I’ve been blessed with generally good skin, not many blemishes or breakouts, never had too many problems even during puberty. However, as I get older I am trying to find the regimens to take better care of me as a whole. And I am a total advocate for self care!
I made my appointment during the Black Friday sale online, I immediately received a confirmation of my order, and the next morning my appointment was accepted. I went in after a long day of work, so of course relaxation was what I hoped for. Myasia was at the door waiting when I got there, she even put coins in my meter for me. Because yes I am the chance it and pray you don’t get a ticket type!
Myasia walked me down to her suite which had such a warm and welcoming ambiance. I signed some paperwork and it was time! I was taken back to where the facial would happen, given a body towel so that I could undress my shoulders, and got situated on the bed. When Myasia came back in, she explained how the facial would happen and the steps she would take, she examined my skin and determined what I would need specifically.
As she beautified my skin, she explained each step along the way. I went for the Signature Facial, which included a deep cleanse, steam, exfoliation, extractions, massage, and a signature mask! 60 minutes of pure heaven! I may have dozed off a few times, that’s how you know it was amazing, I was so relaxed through the entire process. There was literally no pain in anything she did, and Myasia was extremely gentle.
Once my Signature Facial was done, Myasia gave me a list of products I can use to stay flawless!
