Girls Night Out at Bentley's

What’s better than good music, tasty cocktails, and your good good girlfriends? We all love a good girl’s night, it’s like food to the soul and therapy! Friday night we decided we needed to get up and get out, we’re way too young to be feeling so old! I had heard there was a new black owned Restaurant in town and of course we had to go visit! We decided to get all dolled up and head out for dinner at Bentley’s.

Bentley’s is beautiful! As soon as we waltzed in, we were greeted with such love! We were even invited up to the birthday party that was happening upstairs, which really sounded like a good time. They were patient with us as we tip-toed between the bar and tabled seating, we had to figure out what kind of vibe we were feeling. We decided on a table!

Our server brought over water and some delicious cinnamon-apple cornbread muffins! Once we threw a little butter on the muffins, they were incomparable. I’ve had cornbread with a sprinkle of cinnamon, but the apple added that extra razzle dazzle!

After getting the advice of our server on which drinks were the best (he named pretty much every drink on the menu), we all ordered different drinks so we could do a good ol’ taste test; A Grand Peche, Sangria, and Amistad Lemonade. They were all good, not much of a buzz but a great dinner match.

We got the crab cakes meal with green beans and fresh hand-cut french fries, old bay wings, and vegan pasta! The pasta just needed a little more seasoning, but with a dash of old bay, delicious. The green beans were cooked almost like greens and the wings were great! Everything came out pretty quickly, fresh, and hot!

Even though we had our own server, multiple employees came to check on us! Literally everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. There was a party going on upstairs with a mixture of live music and DJ, we felt like we were apart of the event. The atmosphere of Bentley’s is so beautiful, it has a jazzy feeling to it. The decor was holiday festive so in perfect Girls Night fashion, we had a photo shoot! Not only did an employee offer to snap our group pictures, but the others hyped us up with some “yesss girl”, “you better pose”, “come on model”!!! We loved the encouragement!

Overall Bentley’s was amazing and we’ll definitely be back!
